Standard License
Grant of License
Upon purchase of a Standard License, the owner grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Correction Layer Dataset for internal commercial purposes, including but not limited to training AI models, fine-tuning language models, evaluating and benchmarking model performance on emotional reasoning tasks, and internal research and development.
Permitted Use
You may use the Dataset to train, fine-tune, or evaluate AI systems within your organization. You may reference the Dataset methodology in published research with appropriate attribution. You may create derivative training data inspired by the Dataset's schema and methodology.
Restrictions
You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the Dataset to third parties. You may not share raw Dataset contents outside your organization. You may not use the Dataset to create a competing dataset product for commercial sale. You may not remove or alter attribution or provenance information.
Attribution
When referencing the Dataset in published research or public materials, you must include the following attribution: "Correction Layer emotional reasoning dataset — CorrectionLayer.com." Contact via correctionlayer.com.
General Terms
Warranty
The owner warrants that the Dataset is original work and does not infringe on third-party intellectual property, that the Dataset has been reviewed and validated by a licensed psychotherapist, and that the Dataset contents are accurate representations of the methodology described in accompanying materials.
Limitation of Liability
The owner's total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the license fee paid. The owner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Dataset, including but not limited to harm caused by AI models trained on the Dataset.
Termination
The owner may terminate this license if the buyer materially breaches these terms and fails to cure the breach within 30 days of written notice.
Modifications
The owner reserves the right to update these terms. Existing licensees will be governed by the terms in effect at the time of their purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Disputes
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the jurisdiction of the owner's principal place of business.
